The fine print, unfined

Privacy

We collect almost nothing, and what we do collect exists for exactly one reason: to reply to you.

What we collect

If you submit the Start a project form, we receive what you typed: your name, email, optional company name, and your project brief. That's the complete list. Browsing the site sends us nothing — no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no ad tech, no cookies set by us.

Why we collect it

To read your brief and reply. Nothing else. Your details are never sold, shared, rented, or added to a mailing list you didn't ask for.

Where it goes

Form submissions travel through Cloudflare (our host) and arrive as an email in our inbox, where they stay like any normal business correspondence.

Two infrastructure notes, for completeness: Cloudflare serves this site and processes requests to it, and our page fonts load from Google Fonts — so those two providers see standard technical request data (like your IP address) the same way any web host does.

What stays on your device

Two small preferences live in your browser's own storage and never leave it: a session flag that remembers you've already seen the homepage intro (so it doesn't replay every visit — it clears when you close the tab), and, if you use the "Reduce motion" toggle in the footer, that choice (so it survives a reload; it stays until you toggle it back or clear your browser data). Neither is a cookie, neither is sent to us or anyone else.

Your call, always

Want your inquiry deleted? Email jake@jakemcanelly.com and it's gone. No forms, no fuss.
